What Episode Two will focus on ?

So Episode One focused on A.I and Alyx, What do you think Episode Two will focus on ?

I think we will see some new weapons and more epic fighting\battles

I think that the information found at the arctic base might be technology that could lead to a new weapon. Will we see one in Episode 2? Not likely, but we might get lucky.

But on-topic, I reckon Episode 2 will have you driving an APC, taking out legs of Striders and shit with Alyx secured in the back, taking her safely to Black Mesa Mk3. Then, when you get there, the Vortigaunts look after Alyx and you are sent out with a squad of Vorts to attack a Combine factory, or start a journey towards Mossman or something.

There may be no significant need for new weapons, but I think we'll see some new ones. The community will want some new toys to kill with, whether or not new weapons are not actually needed.

I wonder if they will develop any weapons that might be similiar to the stronger weapons of HL1.

Sure, the Combine can act like they arent afraid of our weapons, but any new advancement is going to help...

Judging by the preview alone, the EP2 level design will focus mostly on natural areas along with anywhere else that isn't a city. The Vortigaunts also seem to play a bigger role, but this shouldn't mean that other Xen creatures like the houndeyes and bullsquids will return (even if I want them to so much).

I'm with Black Op - I think we'll see a larger role for the Vortigaunts, perhaps the beginning of them participating in or leading a final purge (or at least rebellion). New weapons for Gordon? I don't think so, just doesn't seem like something Valve would do. Vehicles? Maybe, it's something Valve has done in the past and it certainly was fun.

There are only going to be 3 episodes aren't there? I'm not to sure I didn't read into that.
I don't think we'll see other planets (such as Xen) for the 3 episodes, I think HL3 (going a bit too far here) will concentrate on the final big "getting rid of the universe being enslaved, going to the original world of where the combine began and kicking ass" bit. I think the rest of the episodes are going to be on re-taking back Earth.
