I was looking over some of my previous posts and I found a thread about the mod "Incoming Source". Some of the screenshots look amazing.

I was wondering if this mod was ever released? Or did it somehow get cancelled. It looked like it had great potention.

Here is a previous thread about it - http://halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=97320

It is pretty much dead. I just googled around. It failed, then some of the content later was used in Orion, another mod, by some of the same dudes, and which is also dead from the looks of its moddb and website 404.

Which isn't really a shame since it was pretty much a lame Halo ripoff with typical noob leader syndrome and dinosaurs. And iirc the leader Praz is pretty much a twat.

Halo! With dinosaurs!

LOL! I remember when they showed dinosaurs on hl2world.

Whatever happened to Monkey Wars?

It got released, played for a few weeks and then died.

Doesn't look released to me.

It was a crappy version with untextured weapons and lag up the ass, felt like a pre-alpha.
They probably removed it years ago.

It isn't... the ModDB says it is for some reason but it is not accurate.

Again, this project looks about 98% dead.

No, it was actually Halo. With dinosaurs.

When they were posting their updates here, they got on my nerves. No one really cared about the media and kept asking about the dinosaurs, and they just ****ing ignored it. I'm pretty sure they had given up on the dinosaurs thing but didn't want to lose the hype.

the project leader invented spartans and warthogs before halo even came out. true story!

lol dinosaurs... too bad they never released ANY screenshots with them in action

Like those ones?

Garry's Mod, no way they implemented DOF.

No, he saying that he thinks those screens could not be in-game because it would mean they would have had to implement depth of field to their player view, which isn't a default componant of Source so would need to be custom-made.

Oh Crispy.

Hahaha the lack of sarcasm indicators on the internet sure is funny
