sorry, I don't play HL2 DM and I've been on many forums and have heard of this ominous "gravity jump"

This involves firing a caught object at the floor and jumping at the same time, with the result of propelling the player much higher than they usually can jump. This allows players to reach previously inaccessible areas, or make alarming escapes.

how would someone go about doing this "move"?

EDIT: by that I mean, how would you fire the object at the ground and jump at the same time? I've heard of people needing scripts for this, is it really that hard to do?

Yeah, this is a great move and someone made a really cool video about it a while back, but I can't find the link. Search the Net for it or get creative yourself on an empty server.

hey cool, i've never heard of that move before.
*me loads HL2 to try it*

You need to switch rapidly between the gravity gun and another weapon (crowbar/stunstick) while at the same time firing constantly, while standing on an object looking down at it.
