Which of the following do you use and how is it working out for you?

I use Shareaza right now. It has good points and some bad points. I have a huge download right now stuck at 99.99% because people don't want to upload the file right now.

Say I'm downloading a popular uncopywrighted ;) song with quite a few sources...I can get up in the 300 kb/s range...and that's better than I could do with Kazaa.

EDIT: ARG!! There's 6kb left in this 1gb d/l...and it just won't finish ;(

i've got K++ installed but i never find any use for it.

if i have to use a crappy p2p program i use DC++...but i dont like p2p

DC++.. KaZaa is for newbs and so full of fake stuff, viruses and all. DC++ is alot more safe, you can't fake the filesize and stuff like that. It has nice chat systems aswell :)

No encouraging piracy please, this thread stays open, but no links to filesharing proggies please :)

Bit Torrent for files and Kazza Lite for music.

I sometimes use Piolet, but that's only for MP3s.

Edonkey and WinMX are both completely spyware free, and offer great shareware programs. WinMX is what i use.

kazaa lite has closed down for copyright reasons i think, but can be still used to download stuff, just you cant DL it anymore. even the official site now shows no trace of it ever being there.

I dont use DC++, i use BCDC++.. cant i vote? :) (should say Direct Connect)

Anyways, I use Dc when i dont feel like looking for torrent files.

Bittorrent is the ultimate program for anime, thats for sure!

DC++ and Shareaza. Used to use Klite but non of the music works (screaching sound) so many viruses and files that are named differently than what they actualy are... oh and slow as hell d/ls (max 80kbs)

DC++ and torrent are a bit useless to me since you have to have a minimum filesharing limit which sucks cos its usually about 3 gb or something. So kazaa lite is the one for me. I tried emule which sucks cos I cant find any files and it crashes.

Kazaa Lite K++ ver. 2.4.1 ext. ver. 0.56

The damn thing's fully automated - I don't have to baby it along by finding more sources or any crap like that. It'll even jump the supernode if it has to, all by itself. Bliss to a dialupper, I'll tell you. The only thing that can interrupt my downloads is a power cut (I need a UPS still. It's on my 'things I want desperately' list)...There are frequent power cuts where I live.

morphius is full of spyware, so is the newer vesions of kazaa. if i could find a good program id use it but for now i dont fileshare.

Kazaa lite is where its at in the pr0n0 department

you dont have an option for multiple...but i haven't been filesharing in a while

shareaza...klite...and bt when im downloading..books.

college + lan dc hub = win win win.
ohhhhh, yeah, that feels GRRRRRREAT (1.3 MB/s, thats not megabits, thats megabytes)

So what? With Bittorrent you have to find the files your self? That dosn't really seem to make it like Kazza or anything. I understand that it is P2P....but still.

Are you part of the i2hub.com? That place is amazing.

Bittorrent for cool things like tv shows, game patches when i don't wanna wait in lines, etc...

used to use morpheus, but found lots of spyware, and i couldn't find any cool songs or whatever, so now i use Limewire... latest adaware hasn't detected anything, so i'm hoping there isn't acually any spyware in limewire.

hmm yeah, limewire is sweet for porn and music.

did i say porn? omg i feel so dirty, PLEASE! SOMEONE ... nevermind... something... ehhhh i'm bored now.

i2hub would be slower then ours, as it has to leave the lan and actually travel out over the 'net to connect to the other comps. With our hub, the only limits are our lan hubs (which still run 10baseT, haven't moved up to 100 yet...)

Kazaa Lite K++ here as well, <3 techtv

You guys should give SoulSeek a try for music. ;)

I use soulseek too, especially to find rare mp3s, otherwise it's Kazaa lite or Shareaza...

I used Kazaa Lite for specific music I'm looking for.

Other than that I either use DC++, or Bit Torrent. I use Azure BitTorrent Client.

I use Emule the most, I download a ton of fansubbed anime. Amazing that I use it for LEGAL purposes. :D
