What game was first..

Yup, I believe Hitman 1 was the first

I think hitman was the first saying it has revolutionary ragdoll physics but there might be a game that had it before hitman, it just wasnt that good ;)

Probably not, there was a couple of games that used physics then.. Secret Service: In Harms Way was pretty early too, and it used ragdolls.

Tresspaser <SP>? not really sure when it came out but I think it was first.

Theif: The dark project had it too..pretty early...not good ragdoll..but still ragdoll..

Hitman was indeed the first game with ragdolls. The other games mentioned, used glorified death animations (for their time).

I think the first game I played with Ragdoll physics was the Unreal Tournament 2003 demo. Man, that was awesome. The one map in the demo had a pit with numerous rods across the gap and whenever you died your body would bounce and hit off these rods. Man, that was awesome

I beleive that Trespasser was the first game to use ragdoll physics(however poor they might have been)

Thief didn't have physics for characters and monsters only for boxes and other debri.
