So I'm looking for a program that can uncompress a zip64 format .zip. I can't, for the life of me, find a free program to do it. None of my current programs (7-zip , winrar) can pull it off.

Does anyone else even know what the heck this format is?

You must install 64 different archiving programs, and create a batch file that runs them all at once with your z64 file as the target.

Edit: also you have to name the batch file "gangbang.bat"

never have heard of that. seems like it was compressed in 64bit.

I already tried that.

I got the error: 434 - Goatse Not Found

Is that a problem? I think I may have a virus.

On a more serious note, I've managed to find out that it has nothing to do with a 64 bit OS.

Pfft, this is easy. Just rename it to whatever.zip or .rar. Works every time. Hell, if its a video file just change it to .avi and off you go.

Krynn, it's already a .zip

ASUS, I tried using their ZIP reader and I get an error:

This file requires a product compliant with ZIP APPNOTE version 6.3

What about the regular desktop program rather than the reader?
From the product page there is a "evaluation" button at the top (30 days, full functions). Maybe that one goes beyond v6.3. WIKI shows versions up through v9 at least.

Unfortunately, it's a no go with that either.
Same error.

If it helps, I am able to fully browse the directory and see each file and folder.

I don't believe the files to be corrupt either.

On another note, Winrar says:

Unknown Method in ...
