im 15 and i need(and really want) more money. do you guys know what kind of jobs a 15 year old can do? what were your first jobs guys?

My first job was walking my neighbor's annoying corgi. Other than that, I've never really had a job.

But Fast Food Places and Grocery Stores tend to hire at 15, ask around there.

uhm dont get a job look for stuff to do around like mowing lawns stuff that is here and there like 20 dollars or 30 dollars here or something simple like washing cars or fixing peoples computers i say wait until your 17 or late 16 to get a really solid job because most people dont hire at 15 and you dont want to be stuck with a crappy ass job washing dishes or being forced to push shopping carts in the hot sun not being able to relax

something indoors that doesn't have to do with food, like a cashier or a clerk of some kind.

Start a band. You'll get money eventually- it's not like you need money for anythign at 15 anyway, unless you're a stoner.

my mom has lung cancer and is on disability so the money is not exactly rolling in right now. we get support from my grandpa. he supplies with all our needs and stuff. but i could always help out. and i could always use some money of my own, of course

Your mom has lung cancer and you're worried about getting a new PC?

Dude, I hope she turns out ok and all, but god forbid you help her out with money :\

lol, i will agree that didnt look good the way i typed that. money is not rolling in, but we are doing ok. she has money saved in the bank from when she had a job as a therapist. we are not really that poor. god i sounded like a cold hearted bastard. ;(

ok, i edited it to make it sound not so bad. please do not think i am that selfish, because i am not. it just sounded better in my head than it did in words if that makes any sense.

I wasn't saying you were.

Is she ok, though?

it is in remission right now. she is doing better. still tired alot from the chemo. but she can breathe just about normally and stuff like that.

look in the classifieds for any nearby paper routes you could run

Paper route / mow lawns.

Some DAMN good money in either.

That's for like ages 10-15.

At 15 you should get a real job. That is not "damn" good money at all. Maybe if you're buying cigarettes for your mom, but that's about it.

Wow, that was a total dick thing to say...

My brother-in-law paid for college by mowing lawns in new neighborhoods. There actually is good money in it. He had about 15 lawns ($30 per lawn cause they were the bigger kinds of lawns) and he mowed them every 2 weeks. Thats $450 in 2 weeks... which is about $7/hr in a normal job.. plus you're only working about 2 mornings in the whole 2 weeks.

Be a writer! At least that's what I'm going to do, not many people would publish someone so young but I've seen thirty year olds (and above) who write three times worse than me who have been published. I won't have to worry about it for a while since I'll be living with my parents for another 4 or 5, maybe 6, years.

15?

Army SO Reserve?

or you could work in retail stores....

Then one night in desperation
A young man breaks away
He buys a gun, steals a car,
Tries to run, but he dont get far
And his mama cries

As a crowd gathers round an angry young man
Face down on the street with a gun in his hand
In the ghetto

In the ghetto....

Where I live you must be 16 to even think of working anywhere. I dont think it was even legal to hire under 16.

This summer I had my first job, and it was working at an open-air baths, selling candy.

I am 15 and work in a hardware store. Possibly try that or restaurants. Good Luck!

a mercenary in bosnia?

You can get a job there that's not too dangerous, you know like digging secondary trenches (watch out for land mines!) or stripping ammunition from the dead to sell for food.
