What is best Linux OS

Besides maybe Redhat, what's the best Linux OS because I'm thinking of switching to Linux.

By the way, if you have an ATi graphics card, be aware that the official drivers for Linux operating systems are still pretty rudimentary in some respects, and can be difficult to install. I know this from experience. Doom 3, for example, will not run properly under linux with an ATi card, but this will be remedied eventually.

Don't switch to Linux if you plan on playing games with that system. Though Linux may be considered the better OS, Windows has so much more support for games and hardware, so unless you just want a clean, sleek, office-based machine, go Linux if you want, but for gaming, stay with Windows, XP if you can get it.

IMO I think Fedora is the best. Its easy, simple, and most importantly SLEEK

redhat and suse are the best
any others are maybe good also wich i haven't tryit yet
