What is HL2 Storylin? (Possible Spoilers?)

Without spoiling, please let me know what is going on in HL2. I mean does this game take place right after the end of original game when Gordon accepts the G-Man offer?

Far as we know, HL2 takes place some time after the end of HL1, gordon can't remember where he is or what happened. Valve is really secretive about the plot.

I assume by 'the hottie' you mean Alyx. Shes gordon's friend, the daughter of Eli Vance, the only coloured scientist in HL1, who escaped black mesa but left one of his legs behind, and her mother was killed in black mesa. We don't know how gordon meets her yet, only that she helps him out. She is hot though..:cheers:

What we know:

- Aliens have taken over the earth, stealing it's resources and killing most of the population.
- Gordon returns after x number of years (15?)
- Gordon will start some sort of a prison uprising
- The two characters you cannot trust in the game are Father Gregori and one of the prisoners (you'll know him when you see him)
- Administrator != G-Man .. and we will see the Administrator in person this time around
- There is something funky going on between Barney and the Combine
- Some Xen aliens will be on your side this time

Saying "person of color" is ok, but saying "colored person" is not. Personally, I think it's kinda cool that someone can say such a thing and there are people who aren't familiar with the term. It shows we've come a long way towards abolishing those archaic definitions. Of course, a few years from now the term "African-American" will be obscene and we'll have to change to another word, but for now let's all be pleasant to each other

um, I don't want to start a flame war, but NAACP stands for nation assoc. for the advancement of colored people.

As far as I knew it was and outdated term but not a racist one...
