"XORG" stands for Extreme Online Roleplaying Game, a hybrid between MMORPGs and FPSs. That basicly means its a pretty mmofps.

well neocron is a mmofps lol and its a tad bit different than what these guys are offering, thats why they said it isn't a mmofps because neocron and planetside are considered mmofps games.

Game looks good, im signed up and everything on there forums ready to play it in just over a year :E, or less if i get in beta.

Its a "massive multiplayer online first person shooter roleplaying game" aka MMOFPSRPG. Its only called a XORG to be different than Neocron because it sounds really really familiar to it, almost like these dev's have played Neocron and copied its idea's which isn't a bad thing because these guys might actually give a shit. (Well im hoping so anyway)

Of course,. thats why its here. Source can be pushed much harder then HL2's gfx. But our hardware cannot support it, so we dont get the high res textures and high poly models that we'll see in 2006.

unreal engine 3 isnt about pushing polygons/texture size.
its about dynamic soft shadow casting, dynamic soft self shadowing, raytracing effects that incooperate model attributes (not only texture based shaders). and lets not forget about the sweet d3d 9.0c hdr lighting.

Doesn't sound like UE3 graphics to me.

Also, their website doesn't impress me much. The whole thing reads more like a mod's site than a real game company's site.
