i downloaded coolbits for my geforce 6800. It unlocked this menu called "Additional Direct3d Settings." I click it and it has a box that says "Max Frames to Render Ahead." it is set at 3 by default. What is this and should the number be higher than 3? thanks guys

sry i posted this before in the wrong place.

Just by common sense, i think it means more CPU usage and better fps.

x frames in advance = more frames = more CPU usage?
