What is Vivendi doing?

ZING!!!!!!!!

Also, about the French, they are also good at making white flags.

Uncalled for, besides VUG is a multinational company now.

[sarcasm] >_> I hate VUG because valve told me too! [/sarcasm]

I hate VUG because the PC Gaming industry is becoming (or already is) just like the music industry. Alot of crap, with a few good exceptions, and the publishers are running it all with greed. I won't delude myself by saying developers and their employees aren't in it for the money either. Business is business. But the publishers are the scumbags in suits who keep me from playing quality games. They push their dev teams to release crap just to make a quarterly budget schedule. How many games have you all played that could have been so damn good if the devs hadn't been rushed? Ugh. Just ugh. Ugh with a side of ugh.

Its simple, allmost all the hard-core gamers are going to buy via steam, but the casual gamers aren't, and sales from casual gamers are the highest in the holiday period.

Valve has set bar by offer us a chance to play CS:S if we buy through Steam. The way I see it Valve may be tring to force Vivendi to release sooner. Now, I know that being able to CS:S is no consilation for not having HL2, but it's better then nothing. Vivendi must meet this challeng or risk losing a great number of sales to Steam.

Well lets not rule the French out completely. Crytek are French aren't they? Though i believe they've surrendered their services to EA

crytek is a german company, but the employees are international. their former publisher, ubsisoft, is french.
