What is your best Speedrun time of Half-Life 2?

I just halved my old speedrun record of Half-Life 2 in one sitting, my old (Very old, from like 2004) record was approx. 12 hours, tonight the credits started rolling after just 5h:40m:48s.

I was keeping track of time by listening to a playlist that went for 1h:16m:22s, it played through approx. 4.2 times.

I was playing on Hard difficulty & the final time includes deaths (but I only died twice) & load times.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I should be proud of this speedrun, as I don't what other people get when they speedrun.

So tell me, is this good or bad?

I've never considered trying to finish Half-Life 2 in as short a time as possible. I would guess something around 20 hours mabye.

Exactly. I never think about speeding through any of the games I play; I take them slowly and steadily to get the best possible gaming experience and to learn more about the story-- if there even is one.

With that being said, I'd have to say the shortest time it took me to play Half-Life 2 would be about twenty hours or so. I don't actually count how much time it took me to complete a video game, I'm just giving an estimation

My fastest time in hl1 was 3 hours. I got it down to an art now. hl2 I believe was somewhere around 6 and a half to 8 hours.

ep1 & 2 are around 3 hours.
