Thumbsucker had great music from the Polyphonic Spree and Elliott Smith
Harold and Maude with Cat Stevens
Requiem for a Dream with Clint Mansell and his dark, brooding score.

Randy Newman is a cousin of Thomas Newman i believe.
the Newman family is very gifted

Did Aliens have a sound track? Whatever, just hearing Hudson scream out "Game over man!" is enough to satisfy my music needs for a day.

Clint Mansell.

Mine would be Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club (Dust Brothers), the Matrix trilogy and Animatrix (some seriously amazing songs on there, Peace Orchestra, Juno Reactor, Rob Dougan, etc), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Jefferson Airplane ftw), everything by John Williams, especially the Jurassic Park theme, and methinks a hell of a lot more.

any of you enjoy King Kong's soundtrack?
my favorite track from that movie is when anne and the ape are in central park.
that track gives me a sense of something from Road to Perdition

I really like Back to the Future's soundtrack. The outatime orchestra, Huey Lewis and the News, Eric Clapton.

I'm an 80's cheese lover. :D

EDIT: Can't forget that smashing rendition of Johnny B Goode! :p

i love the sound track froom Queen of the Dammed, especialy Forsaken sang by Disturbeds very own David Draiman :D

Godzila. Akira Ifukube is the shiznit. And the newer King Kong had a great soundtrack.

The soundtrack to Romeo and Juliet (1990s one with DiCaprio) sticks out in my head.
