What is your most anticipated game this year?

I'll try BF:V but I'm not looking forward to it, I'm not sure about GTA5 cause I haven't seen it yet (And GTA:VC deserves to be 4 ), but I'm hoping it'll be pretty cool. Halo 2 should be wicked but I don't have an Xbox Farcry doesn't interest me too much, neither Stalker or Flashpoint 2. That just leaves Doom 3, and I'm not completely thrilled about that either... go HL2!

i grew up playing the Doom series.. so regardless of how the MP is.. its a sentimental fav for me.. always kinda will be.

i just hope ID don't mess it up.. (with max 4 player MP and such info flying around) and ruin what once was the king of fps.. i don't want the Doom series remembered by how Doom3 looks and plays.. *sighs* i digress..

Have any of you heard of Soldner Secret wars.

Its not got wonderfull gfx but they are ok. but the most important thing is that there are a shitload of equipment, weapons and vehicals AND the linux version of the game server which will be released after the game itself is going to be able to handle 128 players!!!!


Read up on it if you wan't. It looks much like my dream game bar the fact the gfx stink compared to the newest games such as hl2 and doom3.



I mean in multiplayer you can knock down trees, buildings and even deform the terrain!


It should rock if it works out!

doom, for me, is a little too "oh my god that guy has no gut and that zombie is fu**ing up my head... why did i have to play doom 3 at night"... so i probally wont get it.... i really dont care how "good the graphics are". its not coz me pc cant handle it its coz hl2 and farcry look just as good, but without the nightmares. And my pc CAN handle it ANYAY i have a radion 9800 pro so stfu.....

and shouldnt this be in the gaming section? just a thought.

I think that 4 player multiplayer would be good for stealth and suspensefulness in Doom^3, but stalker just looks all-around good. I like realism, and it looks like they'll have that in spades.
I voted stalker though, because demons are dumb enemies IMO.

if you even do some browsing around in the VC folder, you clearly see that the model and texture archive is titled gta3.img, and NOT gta4.mg or gta:vc.img. and, well, since it says gta3.img it MUST be gta4.

Excuse my cynicism.

But GTA4 should be pretty sweet.

Vice city is the same thing as GTA3? Wow i must ahve been playing a different version then you were then. And i am glad that you think that just because they didnt change a folder name. And as i said before it doesnt matter becuase Rockstar has already called it Grand Theft Auto 5, so that is what it is called until the official name comes out like Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo or whatever the city they choose is.

GTA 5

GTA 4 was reported to be Vice City by a Rockstar PR or something.
And they claimed the next GTA generation (new engine) would only come out with PS3. So even if they launch a new one they'll use the same engine, that however acceptable in the PS2 will suck on the PC.
