My mom hasn't worked ever since I was born. Been in a mental health homes all her life ever since she tried to smother me and my brother when we were infants. <sighs>
Hooray for mothers with subpar work!

Well granted I have had very little contact with her throughout most of my life. Lived with my dad, and moved from california to alaska, etc.

About 2-2.5 million (pounds) per year, dad makes 98% of that

Damn, most everybody here has fairly wealthy families.

My dad's a high level director in the research and development department of a major chemical company, in charge of over 150 people. He makes a lot of money, although I don't ask him how much. My mom doesn't work.

my dad's penis is bigger than your dad's

I don't live with my rents :(

Probably less than 20k

My parents income is:

Your incomeX100000000000000000000 Pesos

Then transferred back into American money.

Combined, my parents make somewhere like 130,000 combined.

I'm still in shock how many of you guys are in upper class. I'm jealous actually...

Help out the little man. Send 1 dollar to "Happy Dude" at 1234 Evergreen Terrace, Dallas TX 75009, and help out your fellow man.

That's a fake address by the way.

Uhh I make next to minimum wage and support my dad and my whole family on part time hours...can I live with one of you?

I think my mum is on about double what I earn, although I haven't lived with her for a long time, so that's just a guess.

lol my parents only earn £9k a YEAR -_- but my mum isn't working yet, shes training as a chef in college, so it's not the end of the world

£30 a week EMA for going to 6th form for me though, plus £100 bonuses scattered through each year :D

Blast! *rips up cheque*

As for the abundance of wealthy parents, you're hanging out with internet-savvy kids who play computer games... probably the easiest way to find rich middleclassery outside of public schools :D

Based on the exchange rates (1.74 $ to the £, roughly), $95,700 per year between parents (before tax).

And we still live in a semi :|

it also explains some people's attitudes

Both parents are artists, so we have low-low income.

BUT I don't live with them :) I'm getting a job soon!

you cant buy culture ..at least your parents are visionaries and are probably more well rounded than most parents

only my dad works... mum dosent want to, or need to work... neither do i.

im not sure what the exchange rate betwen £ and $ is... but i think its above the highest option

Me mum's quite famous :D

Think she might have a show in London coming up soon, I'll be going back down to see it - she's not as famous as she once was, but hey, I love art galleries, private views, anything to do with art :)

It's in me blood - my favourite artists are Goya and Velasquez (never can spell his name, but I WILL own the portrait of his that hangs in a gallery in Madrid [I forget the name] - it's just so groundbreaking and fantastic)

museo del prado ..been there ..you should go, Velasquez, Goya, Murillo, Picasso, El Greco etc ..worth the trip ...plus the nightlife is awesome ..go in august

Goudi! :O

I'm not much of an arts person, but I'd recognise his ice cream shaped architecture anywhere.

 never heard of his work described quite like that

That Cathedral isn't going to be finished for another 300 years or something... it was started a long time ago I believe.

/me avoids stereotype about Spanish laziness :O
