Hey there,

I'm kind of new to this group, actually this would be my first post .... anybody in here seen those ads on tv, the ones with the SUV furry creatures? Apparently they made a whole game out of it and I was just wondering if anyone knows more about what it's all for? I can't really tell.

The game itself is pretty hilarious, better then the ads - u can actually cruise around, all over, on those funky beasts which I'm still trying to decipher what exactly they are sposed to resemble... any help?

They're supposed to be big hairy SUVs. It's all about being able to drive your SUV properly. They're just depicting SUVs as wild animals to emphasize their statement that you can really get hurt in one if you don't drive it properly.

Thanks for the replies...... I figured they couldnt be selling a vehicle unless someone was in the market for something big and hairy.... so it's all a big safe driving thing? Ha… they are trying to make suburban people learn how to drive their SUV’s… funny.

I really doubt its those guys. They make huge money from selling SUVs.
All the more reason for them to want people to drive them safely. Safe driving = fewer accidents = a more attractive product for the consumer.

The Esuvee safety campaign is sponsored by the offices of the attorney general and consumer protection agencies of all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands

I doubt auto agencies would put out adds like this too. Yeah they want to emphasize safer driving, but from a marketing standpoint they're not going to advertise the fact that they're vehicles are any more difficult to drive or require more effort to keep them in control than any other vehicle on the road. That just wouldn't make sense.

actually its a govt order for the suv companies to make a saftey campaign or donate money etc. after a trial

Yes but this safety campaign was not made by SUV manufacturers, as it clearly says on the website.
