What kind of PC Game do you eagerly anticipate? Is it the latest RTS game like SupCom or Company of Heroes, perhaps the latest fps such as Bioshock or Enemy Territory: quake Wars. Or Perhaps adventure games a.l.a Sam and Max, Syberia etc. Last but not least RPGs and MMORPGs such as KOTOR/WoW and so forth?

Multi-option poll hoooooooo!

I see no poll.
Anyway, I await Bioshock! and other FPS games!

Bioshock is my top game I'm looking forward to...I'm replaying system shock 2 at the moment.

reading comprehension ftw

I used to be a fps type but mostly I play rpgs and mmorpgs (as soon as age of conan comes out ..might have to get burning crusade ..but trying not to)

There always seems to be some kind of FPS game on my mind since I played Wolf3D. I have not looked forward to any Adventure games for a long time. Wish there were more out there today. RPGs are OK. There are a few I really enjoy. I'm not that great at strategy games so I tend to avoid them. :D

FPS for me, third person if the game is good. Fortunately, I like science fiction / mild horror/survival game themes, which are in abundance.

lols my poll never made it :( I fail at creating threads - mod help? pls with sugar on top?

I'm an all-rounder really.
Looking forward to FPS's like ET: QW, Left 4 Dead and so on...
RPG's/MMO's, the next Guild Wars expansion, and maybe some RPG's...
RTS's... Halo Wars (It's not for PC though :()

Really, as long as the gameplay seems fun, and it has some kind of decent story, then i'll look forward to it.

I find myself with zero patience for modern FPS games, all seem to be a rehash of what we've all seen 10000 times. :\

I love zombie survival games, and the upcoming Spore is gonig to be a new awesome genre.

Does anyone know any free zombie survival games?

Edit: I'm gonig to downlaod BrainBread. Anyone want to join me?

i hit all the genres (adventure > rts > fps), well, most of them, i tend to not care about horror ones like silent hill and resident evil.

i've been gaming on pc since dos/ms-dos, so you could say i'm quite the pc gaming fan. :P

I'm very much an FPS and Racing game kinda gamer. I've tried all categories and done my best to give them all a fair go, but for the most part i just can't get into anything else, i guess i'm kinda all about constant action and instant gratification xD

New Dawn. Most of other games (with the exception of Bioshock and Episode Two) are beating the dead horse again and again.

Well I'm a FPS/RTS/ Racing gamer, and sometimes if the games are good, I like 3rd person games too, Max Payne 2 is one of my favorite games after all. As for games I'm looking forward too, I'll list a few: SUPCOM, C&C3, Crysis, HL2EP2, Alan Wake and others I'm forgetting.
Oh and another game that's recently chought my eye is Project Offset. I'm not at all a fantasy fan but from the tech demos I've seen this looks very good.

I'm a FPS whore, single player and multiplayer. I also enjoy RTS games quite a bit but I'm rather picky about them since I've had some rather ordinary experiences with many of the newer ones. I'll also play racing, adventure and RPG games too.

I'm looking forward to quite a number of titles, Crysis, Quake Wars, Bioshock, C&C3, Hellgate and many more.

I'll go with anything on PC these days, as long as its well made i'll at least download the demo of it.

FPS stylings - all new Valve and Valve related products, also ET:QW
RTS - SupCom and C&C3

Bunch of mods slowly coming on line too that i'm keeping eyes on, Goldeneye Source and PVK:II

I tend to think of myself as an RPG gamer with a healthy dose of FPS and a smattering of everything else. Recently I've been leaning a bit towards RTS gaming aswell, what with playing quite a bit of Company of Heroes, and looking out for Supreme Commander and Spore.

Spore, SupCom, Quake Wars

I like alot of em! :D

I love RTS games and FPS games. Dont play MMORGPS or racing games or adventure games.
I find racing games a little dull, and MMORPGS seem too corny and 'nerdy'. WoW makes me cringe. ( -8 social life points for mentioning it by name)

If there are any new game title that many people find interesting, I always consider giving it a shot. Doesn't really matter what genre. Except for sports. Man I hate sports.

I really enjoyed call of cthulu : dark corners of the earth. The graphics are not the best (visual effects are nice though) but the gameplay was awesome.
Immersive First person surival horror.
The game has no HUD, it's all from the character's perspective. You don't find a gun til like halfway into the game.
The whole idea is to progress without your character dying or losing his sanity, great concept!

Also cannot stand sports titles. Except racing and sometimes skating/snowboarding type stuff.

Skating is funny, like Tony Hawk games. And racing like Need For Speed and F-Zero games. But yeah, rest is not fun at all.

Valve Games
BioShock
Command & Conquer 3

And much much more.

I play RPG's the most. But I cant just always play RPG's. Sometimes I need to shoot something in an FPS or lead a couple thousand men to their deaths in an RTS.

Yup, thats me. Just add horror/survival horror. And move it back to adventures on the TRS-80. :O

I play only a bit here and there......I used to play the shit outta HL2.....but life got busy, not much time for games anymore....

Usually FPS games, but lately I've been looking forward to a lot of adventure games.
