FEAR, Quake 4 and Serious Sam 2 came out, and most of us have finished all 3.

But what's next in the FPS genre? I mean after HL2 : Aftermath.

Obviously STALKER will never come out ;(, so what's the next big game, especially in 2006?

It looked so finished in the video that you'd expect it to almost be out by now, but gamespot's release date = March 1st 2006...hmph.

Yes, Prey - for whatever reason, this game isn't getting as much press as Quake 4, F.E.A.R., Aftermath, etc. For good reason, I suppose, since these have quite a bit of PR and/or history behind them. Maybe because it's not as close to release, but I find the gameplay videos, storyline, and game features to appear very intriguing. I think this'll give Quake 4 a run for it's money.

2006 is going to a good year for gamers.
I'm mostly looking forward to Supreme Commander, UT2007, Aftermath, ET: Quake Wars(hopefully), and Alan Wake. Bio Shock, Dark Sector, and X3 I'll keep my eyes on.
Who knows when Stalker is coming out for sure...
