Also I have heard the PC control isn't optimal(haven't tried it out for myself)
Don't know what you're on about. I have a Dual Core 2.4Ghz, 4gb of RAM (3.2 due to 32-bit XP), and an 8800GTS 640mb and the game runs like a dream with better graphics than any of the console versions. Also like said above, modding is far better, especially with blur tweaks that mean Niko is still sharp looking.Stay clear of the PC version. Anything less then a Quad core and it is going to lag to hell. GTA 4 is very resource intensive, in some cases requiring more than Crysis. With your specs your going to struggle even on PS3 equivalent settings.
Except it doesn't have TLAD, which adds some awesome new missions, weapons and vehicles.PC, with the latest patches it's the best version.
id get it on the pc so you can use that nifty video recorder.
You would be a complete fool to buy the ps3 version. It's inferior in every aspect to other versions.
Going by the details you gave it seems it's a laptop. You'd be better of getting it for the PS3 unless your fine with playing it at the lowest detail with slideshow FPS. A few benchmarks can be found here for you GPU: http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-3470.9594.0.html
All of a sudden I have the urge to play this game. My PC specs are as follows: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00 GHz, 3 gigs of ram and Ati Mobility Radeon 3470 HD.
