First, what name do u suggest? I think The Black Box would be nice.

About the contents

Now, what games do u suggest? I would go for remakes of Half-Life 1, Opposing Force, Blue Shift & Decay. Something NEW would be even great.
 
Well, I'd think it would come with...

Half Life 2: Episode Two
Half Life 2: Episode Three
Peggle Extreme 2
Portal 2 (Somehow...)
Counter-Strike III (Anyone notice the OB didn't give you CS:S? CS and HL in a bundle is like, tradition!)

And sell for the awesome price of only 60 bucks! Who cares if you already have HALF the box, you can't beat this!
 
I'd think it'd be Episode 3, with an optional Episodes package (or HL2 + Episodes package). The only reason Portal and HL2 were released together was for the tie-in, and TF2 was in because it was close to completion. HL2 + Episode 1 were only in because they were in the console version.
 
I'll be fecked if I'm buying Half Life 2 a THIRD time. It's either new games or nothing.

then it wouldn't be the Orange Box 2,it would be Half-Life 2 Episode 3
 
I don't think they'll pull another Back-Catalogue release. At least, I really don't want them to. I don't think there is much call for it anyway, and I doubt it would go down on Console. I think there will have to be an Orange-Box style release for the sake of the Console version, which may not fare well as a standalone, single episode release.

1: Half-Life 2: Episode Three
Following the 'Black Box' format, I think we'll see Episode Three bundled with another Single Player component and a Multiplayer one too.

2: Single Player Project
May the rumored, outsourced and story unrelated 'Fourth Episode'. My hunch is another Opposing Force game, but it could quite simply be more Portal. If the 'Orange Box 2' turns out to be a Console centric release, We could see a port of Half-Life: Source to bring everyone up to speed (and an outside chance of Op4 / BS / Decay).

3: Multi Player Project
Either Valve have something entirely unpredictable in the pipeline, or they're simply going to release existing stuff for a console centric release (Console versions of Left 4 Dead, DoD:S and/or CS:S). Outside chance that it will be some kind of Portal Multiplayer, but personally, this doesn't interest me so much.

4: Updates and Extras
The console version may offer hard copies of content and upgrades previously available over Steam and the equivilent Console systems. I expect we're going to see new TF2 and Portal maps during the time it takes for Episode Three to arrive.
 
Valve has said that a new counter strike game will be heading our way next holiday...Same time as episode 3 is scheduled to come out. Coincidence? No! Episode 3 will probably ship with this game.

If I had to guess,

Episode Three
Portal 2 (or some other variation on the use of Portals)
Counter-Strike 2

Those are all continuations of existing titles - something new instead of (or in addition to :D) Portal 2 or CS2 would be nice but I'm not able to predict what that might be.

Oh and BTW it won't include Left 4 Dead, not only is it being made by another developer but it's release date is early next year.

Left 4 Dead's development is collaborative between Valve and Turtle Rock. If it failed to get much exposure on PC and 360, it could be a logical bundle-in with a Lemon Box.

Not that it matters, Black Mesa: Source will never get in the Lavender Box.

For the.. god knows, 100th time, it wasn't free. It was CHEAP, but not free.
 
I reckon ep3 should be packaged with

-A single player game (i.e. portal 2 or something of the like)
-A multiplayer game (L4D maybe)

I paid $44 for The Orange Box, and i'm not bloody complaining. 3 full games and games that i can give to friends if i wish. As far as i'm concerned HL2 and Ep1 were free. And if they weren't, i couldn't care less. $44 is close to the least i've ever paid for a game, and it included 3 nigh on full length games.

I'm guessing the last two would be Counterstrike and DoD,; for our console fans out there.

If there were remakes of the original game, I'd imagine that they would come last (As a 20th anniversary thing)
 
I think it will include only new games. Left 4 Dead is out of the question, it's coming soon and i'll be surprised to see CS2 too.

My suggestion:

1. Ep3
2. Portal 2
3. Prospero

Although nothing is known about Prospero, i would like to imagine it as a new IP,3rd person action-exploring-adventure.

I highly doubt they'll be pulling another "all-in-one" box. They might bundle HL2 with it again, merely because they can't sell it otherwise, because everyone already has it. :p.

Portal 2 is like a no-no. It just wouldn't be original anymore. Portal + Half-Life 2 = combined.

I REALY doubt that there will be portal 2.Besides EP3 there will surely be something,but whatever it is,im preordering it.BTW did you guys know that EA will probably publish EP3

EA published the Orange Box, didn't they? And I think Episode 1, but I'm not sure about that.
