sinkoman said:Not true. I read in an article on monitor refresh rate tweaks that, even though your monitor is set to do stuff at 100 hertz, it still draws stuff on the screen at x fps. Fps and hertz are different. 100 hertz will yeild 100 fps on desktop, but is not 100 fps (something like that). It's hard for me to explain it, i'm not too good at explaining things. It's like, the monitor is working at 100 hertz, while ingame its drawing at 250 fps. It can still draw at 250 fps while its set to 100 hertz, but it wont while you're on the desktop.
