Hey, could you guys tell me what is "seed", "leech" and "health" means.

it's written on the download list of a torrent site

thanks in advance

OMFG PIRATE!

Er, a seed is a host and a leech is a person downloading from said host(s).
Seeds: good.
Leechs: bad.

Health... wtf?

A seed is a person who is uploading after they are finished downloading. They are crutial to keeping the torrent alive.
A leech is one who downloads, but restricts their upload for selfish reasons.
Health means how many seeds are feeding the torrent. Obviously, the higher the health, usually the faster your downloads are, unless there are far more downloaders than there are uploaders.

Seed = a person with a full copy that is uploading

Leech = a person currently downloading the file

Health = pretty much a rough estimate of how fast you will download, related to how many seeders there are.

thanks guys, now please delete this thread for security purpeses

You mean you didn’t set it to self destruct after 10 seconds? What were you thinking man!.

He's using bittorrent...thats not ALL bad. I mean, a few professional games uses BT to distribute patches. That's GOTTA be what he's talking about....right?
