What the hell is wrong with css

Whats wrong with css. in it u cant jump on tables, cuz they just push u away... i feared hl2 would be the same but luckily u can jump over anything, great ^^. But what the **** is wrong with css??
 
Thats a issue due to online play. The physic are handled server side and if every little thing could move the objects around it would lag the server and eat up the CPU. To counter this valve added the "bound" to physic object to less the load on the server.
 
They are still working on the engine, you notice in the console there is a lot of errors.
 
you can add normal physics stuff but when you jump/walk on stuff in doesn't act the same was as in hl2, it kind of sticks to you and you to it. still way better then the ghetto crap the have in the default css maps imo though. hopefully it'll be fixed eventually

Yes i got killed a few times when i first got CS:S (weeks ago) because i was trying to jump on a barrel to get up on a crate..

There realising more maps and stuff in december and if you ahve the silver of gold version you'll get DOD:Source.
 
Its because they couldn't get the physics working properly. So instead what we get is basically a column that you can shoot around and it looks cool.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. I would rather they not move at all.
 
Pretty much everything is wrong with Counterstrike to begin with... :D
 
It's just rushed. We will see some real gaming quality after they release the sdk code.
