First STALKER 75% off, Mass Effect 50% off, and NOW Crysis and Crysis: Warhead 50% off?!

I CANT BUY A GAME EVERY WEEKEND

I think he knows that.

He's pretending to be mad when in fact he's expressing how awesome it is.

crysis sucks, no need to buy it

No, Crysis sucks because it has crappy gameplay.

Start saving for when the Steam xmas shop opens up. Awesome sales around then, like last year...bioshock for $2.

Maybe we should do a HL2.net secret santa this year - with Steam game gifts for the regular members. Whatchathink?

If you do not consume, then you are a traitor.

Regular members will have all the games :(

lol butthurt cuz he cant even buy a 92 dollars graphics card that can run it on highest settings.

I can play it absolutely fine on top settings, and surprise - Crysis still sucks.

Argument debunked. Another roll?

I played that shit 20-30 fps and it was pretty decent. Butthurt cuz $92 card can't fit in case.

Crysis wasn't bad but it could have used another year in the oven to make better gameplay and less massive levels. it felt like you were hiking every you went and if you vehicle exploded it was easier to just reload. also you would die randomly by the smallest debris

lol I can run crysis on max settings - i only played the demo and got bored at part where you throw chickens

Is there any way to gift something but not have it show up from where?

We could do an online Kris Kringle...

Gifts for Krynn? I'm down.

Argument debunked. Another roll? ...Oh, you hate all games? Never mind, don't roll again.

Just debunked.

I had a lot of fun playing through Crysis. Even if there were parts where I was laughing at the game and I kept falling through the world on the final boss fight. I don't need new games yet though. I might have bought the new Painkiller if it weren't for the demo revealing the lack of any sort of talent involved. You complain about the maps in Crysis? Why would you do that? If you got a few gigs to spare, try the Painkiller Resurrection demo. Try to complete it and look a bad map design full in the face.

Crysis was great fun in my opinion (on the Hardest setting at least, it forced you to use everything you had at your disposal). I'll admit it kinda went downhill once the aliens showed up, but fighting the Koreans was fantastic in my opinion.

Crysis was balls. The nanosuit was so overpowered it made the game stupidly easy even on the hardest setting.
Plus the story, characters and level design were all shitty.

Warhead was £5 on the UK EA Store, but then, the EA store sucks a big fat veiny one (your rights to the download expire after 12 months. The ****?), Also, it happened in the past.

Wait, why did you need to know?

Oh, and I've never quite understood the level of dislike the Crysis games inspire. They're not really notable titles, but where has anyone ever said they are?

I'm DLing the Crysis demo to try it out...I've always had my eye on these two games, and now's the perfect time to buy them.

The first was notable because it was a big tech demonstration. It showed just what modern technology is capable of.

Of course, they spent far too much time on the textures rather than the gameplay, but for what they wanted(it really is just one big tech demo) it's a great example.

After playing the Crysis demo...I actually liked it. Even without amazing graphics I enjoyed the gameplay.

One last question before I make my decision....my computer doesn't like the game much even on Medium settings. Is the fully patched version better optimized than in the demo?(which I'm guessing represents the game when it was first released)

They claimed improvements, but don't expect anything especially dramatic.

EDIT: Expect about 2 FPS in gains.

I'd seriously be up for this.

I vote for disbanding the secret santa union and giving all said games to me instead.

Failure to comply will result in use of excessive whinage and violence!

You have been warned.
