there's only 10 spots in the poll so add your own if I've missed you ...this is supposed to be tongue in cheek so I dont want hear anything about stereotypes. Have fun and dont take this seriously

here's a pic list so you know who they are:

Yosemite Sam (American South)
Bugs Bunny (Brooklyn)
Groundskeeper Willie (Scotland)
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (East Indian)
Cookie Kwan (Asian-American)
Benny Hill (British)
Bob and Doug Mackenzie (Canadian)
Mick Dundee (Australian)
Rainer WolfCastle (McBain) (german/austrain etc ..yes I know they're different)
Bumble Bee man (south/central american ..latin)

welsh/benny hill ...same difference ;)

pick a tv character closest to your accent ...oh and make it someone well known

I chose Bugs because being from Boston I guess my accent would be closest to Brooklyn.

I play wicked had' when i go to tha pak'.

Lol, me and xLucidx are furious! Anyone else from Massachusetts on here?

being form the north of Ireland, i have a irish/scottish hybrid accent

how about an character elizabeth hurley plays :\

i'm a sucker for the english

Gonna have to say Groundskeeper Willie (Scottish) because I say Aye. Geordie, but it's actually a form of English, not Scottish.

Roger that. It's a pleasure to hear Jimbo say 'car'. It sounds a bit like 'kerrrr'.

I can't name a single person on the planet that sounds like me.

I sound american sometimes, other times think 'Bernard Matthews'

"Thas' bootifull"

do canadians say 'eh?' at the end of sentences alot? lol
Not as much as people say and we don't even notice it ourselves most of the time but if you have been out of the country for a long time and come back you do notice a lot of "eh's" being thrown around.

Yosemite Sam for the sake of this thread...but my accent sounds more like Jake Perry's (Josh Lucas) accent in "Sweet Home Alabama".

"There's nary an animal alive that can outrun a greased Scotsman"

you people need to vote

If I'd have some (decent) accent in English, I'd like a scottish or irish one. Now I speak english like a ..... Finn.

Am I the only one that voted for American South? :(

Ah ken soond like Groondskepperr wullie uf ah wunt, but ah doon't yooshwally.

i live in florida but i sound nothing like yosemite sam...i cant really think who i sounds like...Joe from Family Guy maybe

but for the sake of the thread wth...YOSEMITE SAM!!

I'm an american, so I have an american accent. It's not a drawl though. The wheelchair guy (is that joe?) from family guy is as good as any example I suppose.

What if I don't have an accent. What if it is just normal Central USA'n?

You get 25 cool points for living there anyway.

American folk from redneck-esque places are amazing.
