What will you be doing on 30th sept?

The worst part about a release date is waiting for freaking EB to call ! So I drive my ass down to there shop and pretend to be looking around the store and all i'm really doing is looking for the game i came in for. Then I look for any unopened boxes that the game might be in.

I hate to be " that guy" so I will always check itall out before I come up and ask if its in. But with this game being such a big release I don't think that will be a problem, I'm sure the guys working in EB will know that they will be getting this all day long.

take a walk, then take a little detour around to my local computer store, pick up hl2 (hopefully) run home and play

Thankfully, Target is only two blocks from campus, sooo..after class RUSH to the store (Maybe leave early and enter store BEFORE class)
if I have it before class, I am keeping it on my person the whole day.

exactly which stores are going to have hl2 mp on the 30th, given it comes out then? Gamestop and EB are both right across the street from my school , but i preordered it at gamestop , should they have it on release day? if not im going with EB

I ordered it to be delivered on the morning of release, but since it'll be a tuesday... I'll probably have to go to uni and wait till I get home to play it.

That, or take it to uni and play it there, or just not go to uni and play it all day.

I will probably go to school in the morning for 2 classes (only have 2 classes a day for the first Semester), find someway to get to my local EB, pick up HL2 and then come home, install it and play all afternoon. =)

I'll probably be at work on Sep 30, reading these forums. If the game is out, hopefully I'll be able to rush home and activate my pre-loaded copy, and play to my heart's content. Then I'll probably take a sick day the next day, and play some more, mess around with the SDK, and then grudgingly go back to work on Friday.

Ill just go to school, come back, get on the forums (for about 3 hours), talk about the release, view any extra-info released, look for cheepest places to buy it, o and re-beat Hl1 in preparation. Then one of the next few days I would get it at a store somewhere...hopefully
I guess it depends whether people r saying "OMG THIS GAME IS AWSOME" or "THIS GAME SURPRISINGLY STINKS"....but im sure it will be awsome
