first ill check if there is mp.. and if there is ill check the modes (deathmatch, ctf whatever..) and get straight to single player.. im broke though doubt how much i will be playing online at first cause i will be downloading it.. till i get the money (yes i will buy it afterwards)

Lol people are so serious, here's my list:

On my way home, I'll show the box of to strangers on the subway, asking them if they want to touch it (the HL2 box, pervert).

At home, it'll finally hit me that I have HL2 and I'll cry for a long time (all the while installing the game).

Spend 10 hours just throwing cans around the trainstation and running away from the guards.

Now, on a serious note, I'll just play the single player first, wait for the MP community to set up stable servers, and then switch between SP and MP.

Mmmm... sounds about right, except the subway part, I would just go dashing down the street doing teh same thing, with the possible addition of screaming praise for Gabe.

4. Smell all the NEW stuff... new jewel case, new manual, new packing cardboard...
5. INSTALL!
6. Get supplies during installation... drinks, food...
7. Sequester myself to my room for the next week, lock the doors...
