I also agree with Sparta. It would be so cool way better than Terrorists and Counter Terrorists.

Combine vs. Resistance would be extremely cool, it is what I think they will end up doing if they have a HL2 MP, but I love CS and can't wait for CS:S.

Just because CS:S will be a new game doesn't mean there will not be idiot 10 year olds or lame cheapos that play the game, main reason I left CS. Really like to see HL2's multiplayer, I bet they will have a surprise in store for us.

I think I'd say HL2 multiplayer. I don't understand this thread though, as HL2 multiplayer hasn't been announced what it is, so how can anyone compare it to anything? I assume HL2 multi will be better because they're still quiet about it. I also heard that Gabe plays it everyday.

dm, tdm, and ctf are old types of gameplay! if theres something new in hl2 MP like a multiplayer mode we've never played before then i would vote for that. but for now I voted for CS:S!

I can see it now- you grab the flag w/ the manipulator, turn around to see an enemy getting ready to blow your head off w/ a shotgun, and you shoot the flag at him, sending him flying against the wall. :cheers: RUN!

I just played HL1 MP just 10 min ago. Still fun. I just cant get used to the gameplay of CS. ( i hate it when i slow down when i jump, bah ) And since cs source has same gameplay, i vote for HL2 MP. Im sure its gonna be really fun playing online, new graphics, good gameplay and cool weapons! I like the RPG alot, and what i have seen in trailers the manipulator is good and fun weapon also. Just think of it, in a server you can throw lots of sh|t with the manipulator at people. Auch a crowbar on your head! I would like to see CTF, tdm and dm.

And i would really love big outdoor maps, and then use a weapon like the RPG and chase people down with a rocket from far far away. Lots of fun.

But hey, my thoughts can always change, and maybe im gonna like cs source alot also, im surely gonna give it a try.

Why does it matter if they are 'old' ? They are still fun to play. And CS bomb defuse gametype is old too...

haha, your so wrong. :dozey: all you have to do is look at how the origional HL was put together, and the majority of FPS games.

im sorry but im more into the sci fi scene. terrorist anti terrorist is so cliche these days so I chose HL2 DM, the weapons will kick ass 100x over .

Both would be great, but HL2MP would be so much better than all the bunnyhopping and such of original CS. Especially if there were vehicles... Damn. CS2 on the other hand...

HL2 multiplayer all the way. I don't know how someone could like a total conversion better then an original.

Also, HL2 multiplayer might have the manipulator! Imagine a big barrel flying right at your face!
