What would you do? ;(

I'd kill a human being over an animal any day of the weak. Hell I might even enjoy killing a person. I have to agree, I'd probably run its head over... I'd want the kangaroo to do that to me if I was writhing in pain on the ground. When I become 18 I wont go anywhere without a big old rifle in my car so I'd just blow it apart if I saw it in real life, sadly I'd probably bury it too.

shooting animals is illegal? LOL ... i would just report it to some animal care people

Was that really called for? Maybe you could explain how what I said (which is what a lot of other people said) was wrong.

i wish we had kangaroos here :(

You will soon, Pi Mu Rho gave me Japan and Canada in exchange for Brazil :D

wouldnt seeing someone shoot something on the ground freak you out a little?
people would probably call the cops if they saw you shooting stuff.
(dont forget your earplugs :D )

I would call some professionals to deal with the animal.
I just can't leave it there and hope for the next guy who comes by to be a nice person and help out.

I hate animals in pain, if i had no gun maybe id take a big stone and throw in on the head, sounds terrible but its better to make the kangaruu a favor and end its pain instead of leaving it there to die by hunger.

EDIT: this if it wasnt possible to rescue it, but if it only had a broken back maybe ill transport it to some zoo or something and ask if they could help.

My friend is a cop and I was on a ride along with him early one morning. We had both been drinking heavily the night before and I know I had a decent hangover. His first call was to put down a deer that got hit by a car.

We get there and this thing is laying in a pool of bright red blood, spazing out and making this sickening sound I can still recall like it happened yesterday. I remember being amazed how red the blood was. My cop friend who definitely doesn't enjoy this sort of thing loaded the shotgun with a slug, put it to it's head and BAM!!!

I'm glad my job description doesn't include shooting slightly alive animals after a night of heavy drinking. That was my first and last ride along.

I'm sure this is an impossible question to answer, but are kangaroos to Australia like deer are to North America? Can you go five minutes without seeing a kangaroo in Australia? In Northern Ohio I see several deer a day. I see mutilated deer on the roads everyday too. Do Aussies have to deal with kangaroo corpses all over the place?

i'd like to say i would do something about it, but sadly, i'd just drive on by and hope its pain would end soon :(

It depends where you live, but generally, no. You usually see mobs of Kangaroos lying around in the shade or chewing on some grasses out in the sun.

Also, the poor Kangaroo wouldn't starve to death, it'd bleed to death from the massive internal trauma caused by the crash. I don't like seeing dead Kangaroos, they're such magnificent animals in life.
