You are given that chance and you've worked very hard to get to that point.
e.i., Being an Olympic athlete.

But for some reason, you had to choose between your girlfriend and your goal.
Which one do you choose?
I'd say your goal, especially something like the Olympics, which is almost an once-in-a-lifetime chance. You'll meet other girls.

If it's some situation where you'd have to leave the country or something and your woman does support it...that'd be a tough decision. I suppose it'd depend on how long you've been together and how serious things are.
