When Im really stressed from studying or any form of work/play (I MEAN REALLY REALLY F***IN STRESSED),

I do the following:

1. HalfLife2.net
2. Take and break everything around me literally. I really would pick up my bottle and smash it against the wall. Or, I would rip papers apart, and I especially find it very de-stressing to smash plastic objects against the walls and watch them disintergerate..
3. Listen to some harcore loud rock on my freakin awesome stereo system with two woofers and 4 speakers..(Rammstein, RATM etc.)
4. play some sports like squash, soccer..
5. Punch my hand on the wall repeatedly, very stress releaving..

When I'm really annoyed, angry or stressed at someone/something I get my MP3 player and go for a walk/jog/cycle around the block or something. That, or draw, read or write.

Usually I smoke pot and im good...

I go shooting. Shooting is an excellent stress reliever, as it calms the nerves and satisfies your frustration by being able to destroy things. :)

You must throw that plastic with the force of a thousand exploding stars to achieve disintegration upon impact.

One thing I do though, is eat. It's a very bad habit, one I try very hard to control. They don't call certain foods comfort foods for nothing.

Problem with smashing things up is you've got to find something which you won't regret destroying after you calm down.

Luckily I have a million old PC Gamer UK demo CDs, plus hundreds of AoL and random shitty MMO tryout discs, none of which I will ever use again. Placing these on a hard surface and then smashing them to pieces with a hammer or a chair leg is a very good stress reliever.

I'm trying to find a stress ball in the shop. That usually helps.

i once tore my smiley faced stress ball in half, thats probably the worst ive done..

Harsh i know but if i have any paintballs left over, i shoot things out my window at 15 balls a second. The sense of '***k yeah!' is awesome. Just dont be surprised if you live in the UK and suddenly a greenish pigeon flies past...

On the more humane side, i scream into a pillow for about 10 seconds (one big breath), helps me alot.

Furiously knock one off to pictures of Holly Valance.

There are a good amount of holes in my walls at home. I have gone through a few keyboards and mice as well. I dont know why I get so angry and take it out on things that cost me money......... <---- stupid

Break shit, but I usually watch out what I break because I've gone through a few keyboards :p

I am really into shooting and reloading (making my own ammuntion from used brass).

I haven't posted here in years. I am a third year dental student so I don't get to shoot much.

Every cartridge I fire besides shotgun shells and .22lr ammo I make myself. It saves money if you buy in bulk. I'd say my best estimate is I have enough powder and primers for about 15,000rds of various rifle and pistol rounds. I don't have enough projectiles for that much though and my brass stock is a bit low as well.

RRA Entry Tactical (5.56 M4 clone)
Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf upper on Stag Arms Lower
DPMS LR-308 (will shoot both .308 or 7.62 Nato)

Yugoslavian M48 (8mm Mauser)
DSA STG58 Para (7.62 Nato or .308)
Saiga .223 unconverted
Saiga 12 shotgun that I converted to pistol grip configuration (12 guage)

I've got a 20rd drum on order for the saiga 12. A company just started making them. It's called a wraithmaker drum. Can't wait.

Browning Buckmark 22lr.
Wilson Combat CQB compact .45acp
RRA Pro Carry .45 acp

The 1911's (.45acp's) are my carry guns as I have a concealed carry permit. I carry the CQB most of the time since it's smaller. I'd have more handguns but I love custom/semi custom 1911's and they are expensive as hell. The Wilson and the RRA were about $2k each. Not that that matters it's just my preference for sidearms and to get what I want it results in less overall pistols.

Shooting and reloading are very relaxing hobbies. :bounce:

Online first-person-shooters can be great stress relievers.

TAKE THAT YOU ****ING NEWB!

Random acts of manslaughter.

You call yourself SIGbastard yet you don't have my favorite gun, a SIG 552?

Pray
Go see my family
Go for a walk
Goto the gym
Watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Go for a drive with some newly burned music

Noice guns btw

I used to really like sig handguns alot. I then bought my first 1911 and loved it. I cannot and will not own a pistol with anything other than a single action only trigger. If sig would release a single action P226 like the SAO P220 they have I'd buy it in a heartbeat. They have the x-five but I really don't want to spend that much for one as they are I think $1500 min for the cheapest model. I just have developed a hatred for DA/SA or DA only trigger. Just my preference.

Also sig really dropped the ball when they realeased the 556. It looks like a bastadized sig 551 ar15 hybrid. The handguards are rather crappy and you can't even get one with iron sights as an option (I know you can get some but not from the factory).

You're religious? Off-topic, I know, but I was just curious.

I thought everyone knew, I'm Mormon.

Along with Que and Quix (who wont be posting for nearly a couple years)

I kinda need some stress relief now. I just finished my brief oral surgery rotation today. The patient I had today had a infected maxillary molar and it was a bitch to get profound anesthesia to begin. He said he was ready and then I started in with a periosteal elevator to disconnect the soft tissue from the area and he about jumped. I finally got good anesthesia and that sucker was a bitch to get out. I was actually hoping to break some roots once to get experience removing root fragments/tips but obviously I would not purposely do that. I actually read the oral surgery book before today unlike Tues and Wed rotations I did so I knew more of what I was doing!

I got pissed off at the guy and pulled out a 1911 and held it against his face until he started screaming and crying and pissed himself. I pulled that tooth out and shot that bitch in the face.

A better course of action?

LOL.

I can't have a firearm on campus with me otherwise that might have made things a little easier. Now maybe if I get to do a rotation somewhere off campus....

Just Kidding.

I just relax my mind. It's a technique i've achieved over the years, and it's damn near impossible to actually explain it, but no matter how pissed I am, i'm capable of sitting there and just releasing it all in a matter of minutes.

It's pretty funny, i'll be clenching my fists and about to crack somebody, like say, a family member, while they're yelling at me. I'll just sit there, relax, clear my mind, and i'll be open my eyes and be sitting there smiling while they're screaming their head off at me.

:E

Going for a leisure ride on my motorbike does wonders too. It's amazing how relaxing riding can be, although I stop myself from getting on my bike when I realize that i'm so upset that it'll cloud my judgment.

Either that, or I just go through the local HL2.net image dump.

I listen to music..or play with myself.....
