I don't know why but I have a craving for a good lot of Sword-Play, crossing Lord of the Rings from the list, what other films would be good for a Medieval movie?

Ok, you'll have to exclude the ones in own as they've been seen to death.

Kingdom of Heaven
Lord Of the Rings
Monty Python - Holy Grail

Dude, A Knights Tale. The jousting is just unbelievable. For swordplay, I've always liked Dragonheart.

I liked a Knights Tale, mmhmm i'll have to see DragonHeart

/me is taking notes

Keep 'em coming!

Other than being a complete pack of lies and overly sentimental, Braveheart is a great watch.

I'd stay away from Kingdom of Heaven/Troy etc though - good effects/action, but crap movies.

watch the original Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn, or Spartacus ...top of their genres

King Arthur- The Jerry Bruckheimer one. Not exactly Medievil (pre-medievil) but still a good film nonetheless

Excalibur is a great one to watch, along with Dragonslayer, the Conan films, Krull, Clash of the Titans, The Sword and the Sorceror, The 13th Warrior, Sword of the Valiant, Ivanhoe, The Princess Bride...That should keep you busy for a while. :)

Army of Darkness. :D
This man speaks the truth, there is no better movie about midieval times, and it's historically accurate to boot

Ever see the Mythbusters where they talk about the guy who did the archery for that Robin Hood? He was an amazing shot.
