It's certainly recognizable as Mr. Walken, but it does have a few minor problems. The whole head looks to be a little wide. It looks like it could stand to be a little longer. The nostrils are a little small and cut off sharply, and the lips are too low on the face. The chin could stand to be just a tad wider. I don't know if this image will be of any help, but here you go anyway. Sorry about the attachment, but my webspace is temporarily down.

Reguardless of the proportions, it's a nice looking model. How about a wire shot?

heh I just looked at your included pic.. To be honest, even if he was a bit off in some proportions, its still very good and a pretty good match. I can't wait to see it completed and with textures, maybe lip synched to some wav of Walken speaking that would be neat, see if he can get the facial movements of Walken (err ok just the mad staring basically )

heh no worries mate, done it plenty of times myself lol.. besides, the more I look at what I wrote I guess it "could" be seen the wrong way, so I'll take part of the blame too, its only fair

Thanks, I'll be able to work on it more monday, I'm at a buddies house right now. I also look forward to seeing it done, but have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to skinning a character! By the way, were did you find that picture of walken, I couldn't find any good reference images to use, only angled shot, I found one side and one front that were about the same, but they were really small and hard to get the details from! Sorry for the lengthy post.

http://images.google.com is a great resource for finding reference images. Sometimes you'll need to do a lot of digging through many pages to get what you're looking for, but you'll most likely find what you need by searching there.

yeah google images is very useful. Don't you just hate it though that the one perfect image you happen to be looking for, thats just what you want. Turns out to be just a tiny thumbnail or no longer available when you click it? lol always happens to me

Ha, yeah. It's like the perfect thing, and sometimes when I'm looking for a link to something the address and title seems like the page is exactly what I'm looking for, and it's the only link that won't work.
