what's going down with hl2.net?

Heh, yeah I was a mod from pretty early on. Earlier than most, including TDE ;)

When i went to Scotland, there was this guy who kept trying to convince me that the fried marsbars were a myth, then I went to a chipshop and someone ordered three of them. They fry the pies as well. All the baked goods taste nice, but they're just so unhealthy :) Scotland is I think considered the most unhealthy country in europe. Everyone dies of liver failure or heart attack :)
 
Oh man, fried mars bars. One could only imagine what the hell that tastes like :P Maybe if we've got a Scot on the boards he'll let us know :)

Oh, and dammit your right about the "A" instead of "U" thing. After saying "Underground", I just realised I do say "Anderground"... :( :upstare:

It's weird though, people like you and TDE - I don't really know how to explain - it's just very strange when you've been a mod for ages - you know, that authorative figure on these boards, and now the both of you are just "one of the lads" so to speak :P

Heh seems pretty normal for me. And yeah Sparrow was a mod longer than I was, I think he was one before I even joined the site, he was one of the "first ones" hehe.

Oct 2003...yea he's been here way longer than you and me also.

Edit:Actually he's been here a month longer than me. I joined June 24th he joined May 24th.
 
****, QCK and Ferrowlesparrow where my favorite mods, you guys were always one of us, I never saw you beeing asholes. :(
I had the most respect for you, and for TDE but thats just because I feared him.

Wow...after seeing farrows join date and mine I just realized how long we've been on this site.Been almost 2 years...

Time really flies by.

Yeah, though when I think about all the people I've "met" because of this site, I know its all worth it :D

I just about qualify as I July guy, I signed up on the 31st I think. I didn't even post thought at all until about Christmas '03.

I like Bliink, something about her character just makes me think every post of hers is posted with a smile! :p

Crush and SHIPPI as well, I get the same impression :)

I should point out at this time, that while standing behind me TDE is whispering in my ear that he agrees with my statement about you being green. He also wants me to insult your choice of hairstyle, and to tell you how he say thats a good mood for you is much the same as a rhino's mood, that has just been kissed by another rhino...from behind.
