What's Going To Be The Difference?

So there's going to be people buying it from Steam and Retail... so what's going to be the main differences, particularly the difference between regular and Collector's Edition.

I haven't heard much about it and i'm thinking that Steam will have different options like just HL2 and this or that but the main thing is the difference of Regular and Collector's Edition. I know CE get's this big book of pictures and stuff (which is helpful for all you forum people because of lot of them can't read )

Maybe CE get's Half Life: Source...dunno, just my thoughts

CE gets HL:S, CS:S (I'm pretty sure the regular does too.), and lots of other unannounced goodies. I'm also pretty sure that they'll get other ports too.

Yes. The "standard" edition and CE will come with CS:S. The "Lite" edition probably will not.

There is no "Lite" edition. That went down with Seirra.

there is no lite edition... it's regular and CE. no SP version or whatever when sierra was calling the shotzorz.

I thought the only thing anyone know for sure was this:

1. two versions, standard and ce
2. cs comes with both

VU reorganised their staff, and Sierra now only exists in name alone. The company itself is effectively dead.

Anyway, I guess that the collectors' edition will come with HL:Source, and CS:S wil be with all versions. HL:Source might be available with HL2 on Steam as well.

In the valve email thread. One of them replyed with Half-Life 2 will come with Cs:s. Im almost positive he meant the reg. one.
