Anything? Not talking just songs, although that tends to be the worst. You know, the type you hear thirty times on the radio, and eventually it becomes lodged between the "bad taste" and "mind-numbing catchiness" lobes. Yeah.

But basically it can be anything that you just can't seem to get out of your head at the time.

At the moment I have a quote from Bowling for Columbine - something about being bullied in high school, the song Here It Goes Again by Ok Go, and the word "nation-states" for some reason.

Art coursework.

- and several thoughts circulating how to avoid doing it.

please for the love of god shoot me now ..I have this stupid annoying 4 sec song that plays over and over and over in my head ...my mom gave my son this toy car from some non discript asian country (I know because one of the tag lines on the box is "super-terrific") ..it drives around in circles with lights flashing/doors opening playing this 4 sec dance beat song with an annoying high pitched singer singing lyrics that I'm not even sure are in english

IT'S DRIVING ME ****ING INSANE

..my wife and I have agreed to kill my parents should they ever give my son a present like that again

oh and they also gave my infant daughter a similiar toy ...same type of toy different song

/left eye twitches uncontrollably

That's easily solved by not listening to the radio  And I've got "Waiting for the 718" by Bloc Party stuck in my head.

I don't. People in the car do. Sound travels, unfortunately. :(

Also, I sympathise Stern. My brother got a pokemon toy from our cousins awhile back. Suffice to say, it had sound (singular, not plural).

"My god, My tourniquet. Return to me salvation."

Argh. Heard it at a subway station and can't get it out of my mind.

Blues traveller - Hook.
And other crap.

The Welsh Corgi Pembroke anthem...

What can I say, I love these fuzzballs :)

A brain. And I can't take it out damnit!

Climate change / global warming. It has gotten to me more than ever in the last week or so, and unfortunately I'm still not convinced we're causing everything we see that's happening around us regarding climate change. Ignorant Mother blames the Tsunami of 2004 on Global Warming, sigh.

Also though, other potentially major issues in the relatively near future (my lifetime? Maybe) such as water consumption. I know the energy problem will be solved eventually, but I'm still worried about the water. Luckily I live in Canada

Cbc.ca said:
Estimates of Canada's supply of fresh water vary from 5.6 per cent to nine per cent to 20 per cent of the world's supply

Also note Canada is still less than 0.4% of the World's total population.

2010 projections indicate that

Dreaming of my laptop arriving next week :D

I have an aural collage of three Tool songs (Vicarious, Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann) and 10,000 Days), looping over and over. Annoying, yet 100% distilled awesome.

The telephone number from this has been stuck in my head ever since the first time I saw it. It's such a damn catchy jingle.

IT crowd <3

Nothing, at the moment. I find that listening to the song usually gets it out of my head, which I'm doing at the moment (ohGr - Chemtale). If it's a crappy song, listening to a good song also works.
