i wonder if that game is being held back because hl2 hasn't come out yet

it doesn't look graphically suprior to most games and the lip sync is still terrible

I think they won't let them release it until HL2 is out. If you start slaying Valve employees then HL2 will never come out and neither will this game . If I remember right like a week ago Gabe or someone said they had about 16 days left on bug killing. Who knows if they're going any faster or slower. The game will hopefully be out in September.

2. I agree. Sounds like it has interesting ideas, but it doesn't look nearly as good as HL2, which confuses me.

Maybe because Valve know all the ins and outs of the engine and have been working on the game much longer.

You can have all the rendering power in the world, but if you don`t have anything cool to render, you`re ****ed. HL2 has 10 AAA titles worth of cool art direction.
