Whats the worst way to die?

What is your most unfavorite way to die?

Keep in mind you don't have to use the poll options. That is for my curiousity. Oh and if you would provide an explination. You don't have to.

But from those choices, knife/sharp object. Drowning and falling go by pretty quickly whereas knife (to an internal organ that doesn't kill you instantly) would be painful. I guess you could say the same for gun and car crash but the knife just seems worse.

Fire, to me, is without a doubt the most painful. I've had 3rd degree burns, and I can tell you that it burns like ****ing hell for months. Why do you think Hell is 'on fire'. It's the most dreadful fate, that is why. Nothing I have ever experienced, not even when my finger was nearly cut off was even close to being painful in comparison.

Starvation? I think that is one of the least painful ways to die, besides carbon monoxide poisoning.

In fact, I'd say this list of poll options seems to be a compilation of the least painful ways to die.

Hmmm, it's obviously hard to say having not experienced any of them, those choices are close imo, good thread :thumbs:

They are horrible in different ways.
Some would be more physically painful, some more psychologically painful.
Obv the severity could vary i.e knife/blade could be a decapitation with a sword (fairly good death) or could be being stabbed multiple times and being left to bleed to death.

I think the one that i'd dislike the most would be the drowning, due to the last minute struggle.

It depends, physical pain is usually accompanied by a reaction in the body to dull it. If it's a mortal wound, unconsiousness. But for psycological pain, it would undure till you just snapped and suicided or something else.

Especially with Brown Recluse-esque poison (basically dissolves flesh), but no real fear of spiders here too.

Somewhere between drowning and fire. Drowning is worse pychologically, and fire physically, i think.

I would have to say being depribed of my ability to think and reason would be the worst (think a long painfull torture). Mental would be worst for me then physical.

I will state one of my worst phobias tho....PARASITES!!!

3. Have a fairly large open flame put near your feet just close enough so that the butter starts to cook your skin.

Starvation more for the psychological torture rather than the pain.

Burned alive would be incredibly painful though. I hadn't thought about that one.

Getting stabbed would hurt, but it depends on how much you get stabbed and where, if you get stabbed alot in the stomach you'll go into shock before you die..

Drowning wouldn't be that bad, you'd pass out before you died, but it is the worst, you'd still feel the pain of gasping for air, only to have none....

Burning is the worst of all, no explanation.. it'll just hurt the most... (I know this isn't on the poll)

Falling woulnd't be bad at all, just fall on your head - instant death.

The gun is the same as the knife, if you got shot in the stomach alot you'd pass out before death, if you got shot in the head, instant death in most cases

The car depends on alot of things...

Natural disaster would depend on what disaster..

In conclusion - Drowning is the worst way to die, in my opinion.

Now, if your talking about things that aren't in the poll.. then being tortured to death would be the worst of anything, depending on to torturers imagination.
I heard that in vietnam they would wet bamboo rope, than tie it around American solders balls, then when it dries it shrinks to less than half as if it was wet, so the nuts would get squeezed extremely hard.

Not so bad as you'd think...After a few days you stop feeling hungry and just get tired and cold and moody. But I wouldn't call it torture. That being said, I don't know what it's like to die from hunger, but starving isn't the worst.

One thing that always disturbed me in Dante's Inferno was that the slothful were trapped beneath the River Styx, permanently deprived of oxygen but unable to faint or die. One of the better ironic punishments in the cantos.

I'd have to say burning alive too.

I'll tell you one way starvation would be the worst way to go though: getting buried alive. That'd drive you mad. It'd "only" be psychologically damaging, but that's enough I think.
