Look at the way his arm lies on the top of the couch. My guess is that he *was* playing co-op with the computer kid's sister, and now they're making out on the couch, and the computer kid was like "hey, wtf are you doing", and the couch kid looks up and asks "what, you want to join?" and he just stares like that waiting for a response.
