If you are in University, what's your degree ? And do you have any career plans ?

Multimedia and Graphic Design. Soon, anyway...

I was studying Game Design, but now I'm transferring to a different institute to study Music Industry.

I've been jumping around as shit; I'm hoping this is my last stop: Business Technology Administration.

Bachelors degree in Computer Animation. Career plans? Continue working in the game industry until Ive taken enough business classes to feel safe enough to start my own studio, or until i find someone to co-found one who has the business side taken care of.

University of life, school of hard knocks. Also, I did an extra major in Your Mother.

this, sort of. Getting a bachelor in Game Development as a whole.

High school.

Planning on going for a degree in aviation, though.

Physics and Astrophysics. It's a real conversation-killer.

That is just too awesome.

Me? I'm going in 2 months or so, as an Economics, or hopefully "Political Sciences and International Relations" major.

Finished my degree last year which is a bachelor of information technology and system: multimedia major. Ive been trying to get a job in web design since then, no luck.

Wow, quite a lot of you guys are very edumacated. If anyone wins a nobel prize, please mention my name in your speech/memoirs/books

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, majoring in Geology minoring in Geography (mapping).
Not sure what I want to do with it. Probably find stuff to mine or clean it up afterwards.

Masters in Civil Engineering. It's not too bad, workload is pretty touugh but the majority of subjects are interesting to me. Plus, it offers great career prospects and gives you the opportunity to travel.

I'm currently at a program called "The Europe program". It's a bit vague, but it generally deals with the history of Europe, the evolution of the European identity and the institutions of the European Union, among other things. Within that program you can choose about 10 different subjects that you focus on, including history, philosophy, geography, sociology, political science national economics and business economics. I chose political science. I am on my third semester, with another three left to go after this one (after which I will get a bachelor's degree in political science and European studies). After that you can study another two years to get a Master's degree.

Working on a Bachelor's in Literature. Still a year and a half away though, on account of a really poor first year in English.

Third year of five for a Masters in Chemistry.

Mathematics and becoming a post-graduate student. Although, I am seriously considering dropping out and getting into the gaming industry.

Creative and Professional Writing.

I expect my career prospects start somewhere just below the poverty line.

I'm accidentally studying Computer Engineering. I thought I enrolled in Computer Sciences, which is quite different, so I was pretty shocked and have been drinking a lot more to compensate. Whatever. I'm sure it's not a problem.

I didn't even know I could be accepted for an engineering degree, and I'm the youngest person in the entire program. I seriously didn't know it was engineering though.

You mean like board circuitary and CPU structure and things like that? Awesome.

Can't tell if you're joking or not but thats hilarious.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of Electrical Engineering , as for future plans i hope to get a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Possibly work in "Research and Development".

Computer Engineering has more to do with boolean algebra and processing architecture.

Finished a Bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology, I'm now doing an M.Res in Plant Science.

I'm thinking of doing a PhD after I finish this, though I'll probably move outside the UK. I'm thinking of Oz, though most funding seems to be reserved for Aus/NZ citizens.

Finished a BA (hons) in Human Geography.

I need to re-do my dissertation in the next year or so, but right now its not on my mind at all.

I got a job offer, which I took, 4 months before my graduation was due. Im getting paid a, frankly, ridiculously high amount for a graduate who has minimal experience, and im overseas paying no taxes...for now anyway, after these 6 months are up, im sure returning to the UK will mean a hefty sum at the end of a letter that might as well have a big, red stamp over it saying 'pay us back!'.

I would like to do my dissertation again and get my honours, that way I'll have a 2:1...but seeing as ive discovered that nobody really cares what degree youve got, what marks you got or what Uni you went to, I may not bother.

90%+ of my friends are sat at home with their 1sts and 2:1s, 2:2 honours etc, desperate to find work, and here's me with a simple BA degree, but Ive got a job with pretty much no monthly payments apart from a phone bill and my calculated monthly loan repayment which is based on my income.

Im getting 6 months experience, working overseas too, with a lower degree than most, but who do you think the next company is going to pick if I decide to move on? The one with the better degree, or the one with 6 months experience?

Its all about the XP. Life is WoW in a way...ahem..

BA in International Relations & Politics, currently on the Erasmus exchange programme studying in Finland and I'm off to Australia after Christmas, which is pretty cool.

Bachelors Degree in Biology. Right now I'm working as QC tech at a rather large local dairy company, but seeing as they'll pay up to $3000 a year for classes, I may pursue a higher degree in Microbiology.

I wonder how many of you guys are trolling...Trust is a hard thing to earn over a forum, especially after all the "OMG MY MOM DIED" and then 2 days later after all members gave their condolences "LOL JK"

Dont mind me, im just being jelous

Currently in my first year of Illustration.
