What's your favourite dinosaur?

Pachycephalosaurus
\

BAYAM! 'nuff said?!

(finding good dino images is far harder than it should be!)

Very Respectable Choice, one of my favorites.

Edit: ^ YOU ARE MY BROTHER.

Velociraptors are try hards.

Deinonychus will **** your shit up.

F*ckin' whatever, both of you are wrong with your small dinos. You want a bad mother f*cker? Get the 9 foot Utahraptor.

nigersaurus.

And still too big to be sneaky. Even if it can fit through doors it'd be like, really awkward. And stuff.

I ALREADY POSTED A PIC SAYING IT WAS 7 METERS THOUGH?!

i believe we may have left out the most important dinosaur of all...

justice has been served

Difference between Velociraptor and Utahraptor: I can knock out a Velociraptor with my bare hands.

Hell, I might even stand a chance against a Deinonychus. But Utahraptor? I'm ****ed.

Still, you have way more of a chance of taking down a Veloci compared to a Utah. I am sure it could handle a bit of firepower too.

Wow, fine whiny bitches.

I'm also fond of Anklyosaur.

This critter has been my favorite since I first learned about dinosaurs, and it was in fact this depiction of one in the mural by Rudolph Zallinger (The Age of Reptiles), which was a four-page spread in some Time-Life book my parents had on the bookshelf when I was a little tyke where I first saw one. I managed to find a print of this mural which is currently hanging on my wall.

I actually read about it about 12 years ago in a dinosaur book I got, thought it was the coolest thing ever... practically a walking tank.

I'm really just fascinated by dinosaurs in general and it continues to blow my mind every time I think about them.
The fact that they actually roamed the Earth at some point is just too cool.

A but like I said, Deinos are small enough to be sneaky! Utahs are great big obvious buggers you'll see and hear coming.

Technosaurus, because of it's name

Proof positive that Triceratops are so badass, they survived the dinosaur holocaust by hiding in some fat man's trailer. Also checkit. Three horns. You don't need any more than that, and no animals these days is badass enough to be that big and have three horns.
That photo is from the tv-series Prehistoric Park, where Nigel Marvin and some others travel back in time using a time machine and get animals to make a park in some canyon in Africa.

utharaptor?, what about GIGANTORAPTOR!!1

Gigantoraptor_size.png

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigantoraptor

thought in my opinion both belong more to the "class" before the trx which is of dinosaurs like allosaurus and such

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f6/Allosaurus-Ceratosaurus_comparison_chart.svg

btw the real velociraptor where the size of a turkey, the deynonichus had the size show in the movies

also is probable the trex was more of a scavenger that a hunter

also due to a recent discovery of a well preserved specimen it was discovered that there was one centimeter more in the distance beetwen the backbones, meaning that dinossaurs may have been a bit bigger than thought

I love that the graph says "8 METERS" when the Gigantoraptor is visibly 6.75.

Also Apatosaurus, the artist formerly known as Brontosaurus. Graceful. Majestic. Bigass walking eating machine. Probably ****ed bitches and smoked trees.

/facepalm
It would be 8 meters if it stretched out, which the silhouette is not doing.
Well the graph should be less stupid then. I wouldn't put an Anaconda on a graph, coil it up, and then say "look how long it is!"

Well the graph should be less stupid then.

But then you wouldn't see what its natural pose is. I mean, it's not hard to imagine what it would look like when stretched out, do you really need to see that at the cost of not seeing its natural pose? Not to mention you can tell what the length and height of its natural stance is also.

**** yeah, T-rex.
Someone had to do it.

I disagree with your logic and refuse to back down!
