Prolly been asked numerous times before, but mine has almost certainly changed since it was last asked.

What's your job and how long have you been doing it?

I'm a Web Developer / Designer working in Spain.

I'm a part time manual labourer / graphic designer / web admin / tech dude at a garden centre. They really don't pay me enough for the skilled work, so i'm going to tell them to f**k off. I just need to find a better (and full-time) job first.

i work in a retail, Bershka in Dublin's city centre, i'm a males sales assistant so i basically harass people into buying clothes :p i sometimes work in the womens fitting room, WIN!!!!

part time but full time hours atm while i wait to go back to uni :)

I was working for a sub contractor by helping putting pipes into the ground, making cement pads for the power/junction boxes, and putting fiber optical through the pipes. But I couldn't stand being away from home for so long and always getting sun poisoned. So I quit and now I'm jobless.

Structural CAD Technician.

Whatever the hell that is.

Senior Programmer at a web development company.

i get paid alot to post in this forum and download music... its great work.

I'm chemist, now working in semiconductor/chip manufactory...

Some day I'm going to be a fireman, astronaut, or racecar driver!

But really, tomorrow I'm starting as a website designer type person for my Dad's compmany. It's really not going to be any serious work, I don't think.

Right now I'm working at a Clay pigeon shoot, and looking for something else to last the Summer. I'm also a game designer.

I work for the only commercial newsradio station in the Netherlands. Right now I'm managing the newsroom. Been doing that for the last couple of years. Starting next month I'll be overhauling the website for my radiostation and the website of a national newspaper (same shareholders).

I thought you were a Marine...
no, i'm a "poolee". i've enlisted, and im waiting for my ship date to marine corps recruit depot at san diego. so unfortunately i dont have that title yet, and i dont leave until (now) october 16. i wont be back until mid december.

Training to go in the Army, also working in a shop part time as a supervisor/guy that does stuff that the manager can't be arse to do.

:)

I do drafting for a stainless steel fabrication company. Mostly computer aided design.

Morning paper. Been doing it since feb 28th and plan to keep it up till the end of this year.

ATM I'm a student. :D

Just this past spring I was a sales guy for Compusa. Joy for discounts! Should have bought a HDTV while I was there (not there anymore). :\

Right now im studying game design and graphics at uni (or well, I will in about a month). My current job, even though its more of a we-need-help-come-help-us kind of job, its still a source of income :) I'm a computer and network technician working for a timing company. They do timeing (with chips etc) for all the big events here in sweden as well as norway, denmark and some in the UK (the London Marathon). My job is to setup timing equipment, computers, network etc and being support for the retards who use our system.

Pay is great, free restaurant food three times a day and free hotel room where ever we work. Good stuff :)

I'm just a student right now, but I'm planning on going to work as an insolent lackey at a camera shop ;)

Right now I am just going to school and cant hold a job because of the crazy shifting schedual we have here.

Before this though, I was a Sales associate for CompUSA... WHICH I WILL NEVER DO AGAIN

and before that I worked as a "In Store Marketing" associate for Sears. That was a cool job because a lot of cool people worked there. Plus I was somewhat of a importantant person because I always completely finished what needed to be done and apparently everyone loved me for it.

Oh and just to let everyone know... im listing to the Ghost Recon intro song.... and it rocks.

Another case of threads appearing out of nowhere with fifty replies D:

I am a certified bum. I hang out in open spaces and play bass guitar loudly until people give me food to stop. I also hog the one computer in carnegie library with a proper internet connection.

I stock shelves in the General Merchandise department of a grocery store. Which ranges from DVDs and video games to condoms and tampons.

It's a good time. Been working at the store for going on four years now. Currently at $13.50/hr

$10.52 as a lifeguard at MWR's waterpark at Oceana Master Jet Base. That makes me a government employee. If you're an American Citizen you pay me $10.52 to sit on my ass every hour. I love my job. :)

There's me in the awesome sunglasses (technically ski goggles, I believe) I looted from the lost and found

Training to go in the Army

Pretty much what I'm doing, but if I don't get into my college, which I won't be too fussed over as I'm joining at 18, I'm hoping for a job in my local libary or something in engineering to fill some time whilst I train. What are you planning on doing in the Army? (Air Corps, Royal Engineers, etc)

No job considering I just got back. Need a job so i can afford a nose job and then chase modeling.
