Let's do some quick and easy Myers-Briggs Type Analysis!
Your personality type consists of 4 letters, each selected from a choice of two, and is designed to describe your natural personality state; what you do automatically, rather than what you've learned to do. If you're having trouble deciding, click here for more detail on each choice. You can also take a test that will determine your choices for you.
1. When you interact with the world, do you:
E - Act before reflecting
I - Reflect before acting
2. When you take in information, do you:
S - deal with "what is" -- specific, detailed
N - deal with "what could be" -- ambiguous, conceptual
3. When making decisions, do you:
T - ignore people's feelings and stay objective
F - consider the feelings of others
4. When dealing with the outside world, do you:
J - make decisions quickly
P - keep your options open
REMEMBER: The point is to choose what you do naturally or automatically, rather than what you've learned to do. E.g. Some people will naturally consider the feelings of others, but might choose to ignore them in the workplace when making important decisions (or vice-versa; someone might feel naturally objective, but choose to consider the feelings of others when dealing with friends).
Now put those 4 letters together, and you have a personality type! Look it up here and see if it's accurate! For example, mine is:
Don't worry if it seems inaccurate, since we're not taking the official test (which costs money). It's just a bit of fun. To demonstrate that, here are some fun alternative descriptions.
