When does the preload start? i downt see it on my steam games menu anywhere.

So , do people which have HL2: DM get an additional discount?
 
Ok. Man i dont know whats going on. When i pre-ordered SIN on steam it said my address was wrong and denied my card. I ended up trying different things like putting caps on the TH and RD. Well Valve ended up locking my card. I contacted them and they unlocked it. Right after they did i tryed ordering again and it worked. Just yesterday i went to buy CS:Source for a friend and the same thing happened. Didnt work said my address was wrong, i mesged Valve again, they unlocked it and it worked...Now ONCE AGAIN SAME THING@!!! WTF IS GOING ON! Im typeing the SAME thing 100% to what i typed few ****ing hours ago and it just denied my ****ING card again. WTF HATE SHIT **** ASS!

Back to waiting for Valve.....:O ****!

Is this the only preload? ie is it the same as hl2 where there are multible?
 
So... like... the GCF isn't encrypted?
So I could extract the contents and play it? You know, maps, models, sounds and the client .dll ... :naughty:

It is indeed hldms+hl2dm.

A little disappointing, seeing as hldms is not a total convertion, but still, I bought this package for aftermath, which I am convinced will be worth the puny 18 dollars it set me back. Besides, if this means that more people will own hl2dm (probably not all that many but still) then it could mean a tiny little boost to that community, which it probably needs.

i knew it most likely wasnt but i was still holding my breath, its okay, like i said earlier though i miss gibs, its just not the same anymore!
 
uhh my preload says its done and its locked? whats does that mean? i realy wanna play it! do i have to buy the preload?

It states when going to preorder Episode 1, "Coming - June 1,2006" ...
 
so does that mean u have to pay for the preload?
 
No preloads are free, but if you want to play the game you have to pay.
 
The only purpose of preloading is that you (if you buy it on Steam) don’t have to download the entire game when it’s released, on the 1st of June.

So for now you can only download it. If you pay you can play it when it's released on the 1st of june.
 
When you pay, you pay for the game. Anyone can preload without paying.
