I'm suprized my 1 post in this thread roused so much attention. Though the melting point of steel wouldn't really be related to 9/11, you might ask what caused the buildings to collapse, in which I would answer "Jet fuel leaking from the wreckage of the aircrafts reaching flames and extremely high temperatures caused the fuel to ignite, therefor melting the supprt beams inside the buildings."
