So the game is out on tuesday 8am for UK Steam holders .

When you get the game what are you going to do?

rush through the game and be first to post "I completed the game and here's my review on it" thread.

go slow enjoying every moment for the long wait for the game?

play with the manipultor none stop?

Desturb the peace and combine, by throwing cans at them in the train station and running away? (trust me i can spend all day doing that).

go through the game listening hard to all what has to be said, doing tactic squad commands by looking at the layout of the map, enjoying the ai, trying to trick them and not rushing from the start to end of every map?

trying to find the G-MAN in certain maps (so exploring each map to see if the g-man is there) ((he is back wondering the maps for you to find.))

Im personally going to savour the moment of the game. Yes i will be heart bounding inside when the intro starts up :O.

but going to take it slow through the train station and try and not rush through it. play/experiment with the phsics, annoy the combine with can throwing, find the g-man and then go back and play it different style.

Im going to explore and get used to the keyboard commands and weapons, so that when I actually start progressing through the story, Ill be able to make good use of all my abilities.

Im going to do a little of everything that you say except rush through the game. I always take my time when playing games like this. They are meant to be enjoyed and play through at a nice pace to take up everything around you. I can't wait to throw cans at people

i am So going to spend so much time on each map.

i want to see if any doors open, whats under each crate, if the g-man is walking past, throwing cans at combine then running (that will be so fun LOL).

Also I will play the game, on the hardest difficulty, and finish it probably a week or two from then. Why not savour the first time through? I often find myself wishing I could go back and play games for the first time again, like Half-Life and Zelda OoT... River Raid.

Well after assigning the controls to my FPS layout(moves around with keypad-right hand, looks around w/mouse-left hand), hopefully including prone and look around corners, then i will suspend my disbelief and let the pacing of the story determine play style. One might even hear the sound of bubbling water...

I'm gonna explore every last square inch of the game. Well, maybe not, but as much as possible. I haven't been waiting all this time to rush through it.

i plan on exploring every nook and cranny as well as shooting out a bunch on windows. and when i get the manipulator, goodbye world, i will be playing with that forever.

leaning was poorly handled in Far Cry(too quick and little control). The better leans, like in Call of Duty, give you the subtle control to lean a little and move up/down while leaning. Remember that toy where there was a body on a platform and you pushed a disc on the bottom and could make the body achieve almost any position? That would be the ultimate lean/control.. maybe be able to get up or go prone while leaning.. there would have to be a button to toggle this 'ragdoll' lean..

Why would anyone weep over a game? Anyway I hope this game is as good as they say it is but we will see.

I myself will play the game through at whatever pace IT dictates. From reading some of the reviews it sound as though the pace is varied throughout. Ill play it as it come.

Hopefully it will last longer than the 20 hours or so stated in some reviews.

I am looking forward to chucking things around with the manipulator myself.

poll 2 and poll 4 are close to the same i know sorry hehe.

2 is basically taking your time through the map not rushing through them.

4 is going the whole extra mile of exploration and looking for g-man and hiting/smashing/throwing loads of things.

i can see my self running to to barney up a head...BUT if i was to see a chair on the floor on the run towards him...TRUST ME the antisapation (spelling) of picking it up and throwing it in the air will over come me!
