Where can I get this game from? This game looks like fun. Where can I download it from?

Uhh... unless your priating it, you can't download it anywhere.
Gotta buy it at a "store".
And theres no demo yet, sorry.

Any online game shop will have it, heck, any normal game shop *should* have it (stocks being available of course)

What? I can't pay with a credit card and download it? Let's see ... AO, EQII, FFXI, SW:G ... pretty much every major game allows you to do this. Where do I go to pay and download?

Aren't those MMO's?

This isn't an MMO. So no, you can't download it anywhere. You have to drive to the store and buy it just like every other single player game out there, with the exception of HL2.

Haven't you played single player games before?

to my knowledge its not available as a downloadable game. so you gotta get your lazy arse off that chair and go to a store =)

Doom 3, Star Wars: Battlefield, need I go on? Seriously, though, were can I go?

There's no way I'm driving a few hours into town to the nearest gaming store (then a few hours back) just to pick up a game. Next time I go in, a couple of months from now, I might look into it. But, although this game looked like fun, I'll have to regretfully pass for now.

Actually, it's a good idea to pass on it for now. Wait for some patches to come out.

Some online stores offer free shipping. I got my HL2 copy from newegg.com w/o tax and shipping. I suggest Pricegrabber.com to look through online retailers.(remember to research a few of the more obscure retailers before buying from them, though)

Heck, gogamer.com was selling HL2 at about $33.

Um, where were those offered for download?

Why, at your nearest local pirating website. Screw the people who put their blood and sweat into this game and just take it for free. They don't need the money. They don't need to take care of themselves of their families. Overthrow evil publishers by theiving from right under their noses. Don't be an honest joe. Pirate today!

If you can't feel the sarcasm seething from here then get help

-SEARCH GOOGLE THEN! argh. vampire bloodlines isnt a major title so dont expect every online downloadable store to get it.

purchasing and downloading games is still a fairly new practice. where did you get SW: battlegrounds or doom 3 to download after buying?

It seems that a few select titles (like steam) that are new, pretty much all the MMO's, and a bunch of older or not very popular titles sold for a discount (like http://www.direct2drive.com/ )
