Merle Dandridge did the voice, not the face.

In Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar (It's a commercial book so don't ask for scans please) there's a whole section which has the in-game models compared to the real life faces.

lol, if you wanna know what she looks like...she looks like Alyx...alot...thats about it...Father Grigori and Barneys real life counter parts are amazing....oh and Breen! I love this book!
 
I understand the images can't be scanned, but I bet the name of the model is in that book...

The picture in raising the bar looks more like her, mainly because her hair is tied back...its quite scary looking at the real life counter parts, first time i saw Eli...lol! Judith Mossman aint too bad in real life, looks older, she blatently told valve 'brush out the crowfeet and bags under my eyes' lol...women :rolleyes: :E
 
Its cool.. I'd love to bump into one of them on the street... It'd be like "Hey barney!" or "Hey how's lamarr doing doc?" heh

How much does the guide go for? I may buy it
 
Look on amazon, i got mine for about 18 quid i think, cos there was none left, and had to order through another company, its a nice thing to have.
btw mods or bliiink whatever, can i type in the little paragraph about Kleiners model to give people a taste of it? or does that count as copyright material? its very funny :)
 
or you could go to a B&M Barnes & Noble, sit on a couch and read it...Unless the book comes with a plastic wrap. Then if you like what you saw you pay for it.

Its copyright, but a limited amount for review/critique/resonable use is acceptable. As long as it does not violate the "No Scans" rule, and theres not a huge tract of ripped off text, its ok. (I'm not a lawyer though, and another mod might come and snip it out later if they think I'm wrong, but it should be ok)

'We thought we had a Dr. Kleiner's model in the bag, until we liad eyes on Ted Cohrt(he apparently worked in the office above valve) We were in the elevator with him and we said 'oh my god, thats doctor Kleiner!' we spoke to him and he was happy to let us use his face, as his two teenage boys were both Half-Life fans. It was always fun to run into him at Starbucks with the team members that didn't know where we got Kleiner's face. Both the real life Alyx and the ingame Alyx are extrmely good looking, anyone who says otherwise is either anyone under 13 who still think girls have coodies...or stupid :p
