maybe i dont know what it is. i know ive never used it. i am about 2 hours of game time into. how do i use it? i can only cycle back and forth between my regular gun and crowbar.

You don't have it yet. You'll know when you get it because the game makes a big deal of it.

It's a gun that you use to pick up stuff and throw, or stack, generally manipulate objects, or provide hours of amusement to the user.

EDIT: It's after kanal... i think his lab is the last stop when your done using the airboat.

Dont worry about finding weapons in HL2. They are all handed to you as part of the plot. You simply cannot miss any of them.

After route kanal is water hazard chapter with the airboat vehicle... after that you meet with alyx in black mesa east chapter and you meet with eli. This is where you get the gravity gun.
